Is there a long-term contract? +
Never. ClaimTrack Pro is month-to-month. Cancel any time with no cancellation fee. We earn your business every month.
What does "billed to the manufacturer" mean? +
When equipment you service is still under the manufacturer's (OEM) warranty, the repair cost should go to the manufacturer, not your customer. ClaimTrack Pro tracks every unit's warranty status and flags covered parts right on the quote: the customer sees $0, you file with the manufacturer, and the relationship stays intact. Without a system, most shops either eat that cost or bill the customer and end up in a dispute.
Is ClaimTrack Pro available outside Florida? +
Yes, ClaimTrack Pro works for contractors in all 50 states. Our largest markets are Florida, Texas, California, New York, and New Jersey, but we serve independent contractors nationwide.
Can my Spanish-speaking customers use the portal? +
A full Spanish interface for the portal and customer notifications is in development and coming soon. Today the interface is in English, and the portal is simple enough (one tap from a link, no login or password) that most customers have no trouble with it.
How do payments work? +
ClaimTrack Pro uses Stripe for all payments. The customer pays the invoice and funds go directly to your bank within 2 business days. Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, separate from your ClaimTrack Pro subscription.
What trades does ClaimTrack Pro work for? +
Any contractor who installs or services equipment with a manufacturer warranty: HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, pool service, garage doors, and more.
What roles and permissions are available? +
Every account has an Owner with full access, and you can add technicians on every plan (3 on Starter, 6 on Pro, 15 on Team). Additional roles like Manager/Dispatcher and granular permissions are on the roadmap.
What happens if I upgrade or downgrade my plan? +
Upgrades are instant: your new features unlock immediately and billing is prorated for the rest of the month. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Your data is always preserved. If you downgrade from Team to Pro, your multi-location data stays safe and becomes accessible again the moment you upgrade back.
Can I export my data if I decide to leave? +
Yes. Your data belongs to you, not us. Email support and we'll send you a complete export of your customers, equipment, warranties, and job history. Self-serve CSV export is coming soon.
